It May Not Be Art, But it’s Entertaining
By Casey Scheld
Just thinking about it is
enough to give you frights.
Singing in front of hundreds
of people while a wild announcer
known only as “Matt the Mad
Music Man” might sound intimidating,
but hundreds of people
have discovered that it is actually
a lot of fun.
Welcome to karaoke nights at
Dino’s restaurant in Castro Valley.
For the past four years, patrons
of all ages have come to the
bar to sing songs from the past
half decade. The song could be a
slow-paced oldie or a fast-paced
country song; all are available for
play.
